17 Gluten Free Lunch Ideas

If you're used to having sandwiches, burgers, pasta, and pizza for lunch, the transition to a gluten free diet can be tricky. After all, most bread, buns, pasta, and pizza crust are made of wheat. Luckily, there are many alternative flours available today, and that means there is a variety of gluten free breads, pastas, buns, and crusts. You'll have to experiment to find the ones you like best, but you just might discover you prefer the gluten free versions of your favorite foods over the regular, gluteny versions.

GF Lunch Ideas

  1. Turkey roll-ups
  2. Veggie burgers on GF bread
  3. Tacos (most corn tortillas are GF, but check label)
  4. Quesadillas made with corn tortillas
  5. Homemade salad topped with grilled chicken
  6. GF Mac and Cheese
  7. Rice bowls (use leftover rice, chicken/beef/tofu/seafood, beans, and whatever veggies or condiments you would like)
  8. Mashed potato bowls (potatoes, chicken/beef/tofu/seafood, beans, and whatever veggies or condiments you like)
  9. GF pasta tossed with peas and carrots, butter, and cheese
  10. Taco salad (GF tortilla chips and toppings of your choice: beef, chicken, seafood, cheese, beans, salsa, GF sour cream, etc.)
  11. Steamed veggies with rice

  13. Baked potato with toppings of your choice: butter, GF sour cream, leftover meat, beans, corn, broccoli
  14. Fajitas with corn tortillas
  15. Gluten free pizza
  16. Nachos made with GF tortillas
