Elimination Diet Fun

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a long time. We've been on a food allergy roller coaster. My daughter was the original reason for this blog, but back in 2011, her doctor suddenly said that she was allergic/sensitive to eggs and dairy, but not to gluten.

So, for the past year we've been experimenting with different foods and I kind of forgot about this blog. For that I apologize. And now I'm back. No matter what the tests show, I'm not convinced my daughter doesn't have issues with gluten. Her rash is back in full force. Her stomach cramps all the time. She doesn't have any energy. I definitely think she has food sensitivities beyond egg and dairy. I think everyone in the family has some type of food sensitivity. It's just pinpointing them that's the problem.

So, the entire family has embarked on an elimination diet. We will be eliminating:
  • Gluten
  • Eggs
  • Dairy
  • Peanuts
  • Soy
  • Corn
 I thought making gluten free bread was tricky. I thought making dairy and egg free desserts was a challenge. I think making gluten free, egg free, and dairy free bread and desserts will make all the rest look like a breeze. But I'm going to do it.... and I'm going to blog it.
